So it turns out Gentry is sick, which probably explains the bad behavior yesterday.
We spent the evening at his doctor’s office and than up at Primary Children’s Hospital. We are not quite sure what is going on, so we will be back in the morning.
I will keep you posted and it is not life threatening. But we need prayers and good thoughts.

Today was hard. Too hard. I was reduced to a blubbering pile of tears hiding in the garage in the car. I didn’t actually drive to Mexico as I was thinking about though.
I really think I may need to get away and recharge. Seriously.
Also, when I took Batman away for not listening and he realized it, he kicked the tub. Hard. Wowzer what a temper.

Gentry made friends this summer with my cousin Katrina’s daughter Kate. Kate recently got an email address so we have been writing to her. There correspondence is really cute.
Dear Kate-
I went to preschool today and I dressed up as Batman. My mom made my costume for me and I love it.
I am excited to go trick or treating on Friday and get lots of yummy treats. My mom and I have been singing the song that your Grandma Dale made up about witches and pumpkins.
My favorite dinosaur is a t-rex. What is yours?
Here is a picture of me and my mom making a funny face.
I love you,
Gentry

My JJ and Gentry look so much alike. Like I just went and changed the hair color and added whiskers. Neither of them look like me though. Which is strange to me.
Do this for yourself here.

Um, I have never been so proud.
Before we lived in Salt Lake, we lived in Logan. JJ worked at an ad agency there and he produced several camouflage patterns for White Buffalo Products. Here we have the “Western Range.” You can check out the rest of these fabrics here.
Isn’t JJ like Superman? Except that instead of being faster than a speeding bullet he is talented like Madonna. And versatile to boot. Also, he is really good at pelvic thrusts. Is that too much information?

This cracked me up this morning. Beware, it is the photo of an Italian butt. I am serious, if you don’t want to see a butt don’t look.
I read on one of my favorite blogs, that she is going to write about being Thankful this month. I think I will follow suite and do the same. Unless other things come up.
Today, I am grateful for warm bathes. Seriously. I take one almost everyday and just for 20 minutes, but they warm my soul and give me a little bit of me time alone. I always claim PRIVACY, Gentry get out of here I need to be alone. Gentry now claims privacy when he goes potty, until I need to wipe his little butt. When do they learn to do that on their own?
Also, did you see that it snowed today? At my house? Did it snow at your house as well? I am finally ready for the icky weather and seriously contemplating getting the Christmas tree up. I need it this year and all the effort does not seem worth it for just a month of looking at it. I am grateful for the long extended good weather of this October. Not freezing until now has been nice.

Speechless.
Hopeful.
I wonder what The View will be like tomorrow.

My mom told me I should lay off the whole pumpkin seeds or I might pass a pinecone fence. I think this is a true principle and will apply it to my life.
Also, I am adding my email to the side bar. Here are the rules on that:
1) I don’t want unsolicited stuff. Seriously. Just because it is over there does not mean I want daily updates on the cutest dog on the interweb. Or how horrible Barack Hussien Obama is. Or how your cousin got high on a bottle of air. Or why mothers are the best. Also, I don’t need Viagra. I swear I will send you an email that says UNSUBSCRIBE.
2) If you send me mean and nasty emails, which I do receive, I reserve the right to use them as content for my blog. I have a folder full of them. They are precious. I should share. Really.
3) Um, I deleted this one. Just don’t be a jerk.
4) If however, you would like to send me stuff that you think I really would like to hear about go ahead. Here are things I like: gardening, healthy eating, exercise, learning patience, you probably know already. If you read the blog, I think I am fairly easy to read.
5) If you would like me to practice taking pictures of your kids, I would do it. For a small fee. Cause I am new to this and need to get comfortable being bossy with other people besides JJ and Gentry.
6) I design marketing materials. I could do that for you. For a fee. I am good though, real good. Or if you want consulting, I do that too.
