I have only ever lived in Utah, so I have been blinded by snow storms and learned that driving in three feet of snow is not impossible. I have visited other places who have their own weird weather occurances. I remember driving through Natchez, Mississippi with rain that has been coming down so hard and fast that the windshield wipers could not keep up. I remember being somewhere in the deep south in a hotel while a tornado threatened to come near our hotel, the news was on telling how to duck and cover for safety. JJ has lived in Arizona, where he says it is hot. I guess I will believe him because while I was living in Logan, the old folks would come and live in the student apartments to escape the heat of the summer. He also talks about the monsoons and dust storms. Things that I guess I have not experienced here.
Last night as we were driving home on Bangerter. We drove into a dust cloud. It was amazingly frightening. Like driving from noon directly onto a dark country road that happens to be the home of the Texas Chairsaw Massacre. First the cars in front of us disappeared and then we were in the mass of darkness, hoping not to hit anyone or thing. In seconds we could see the glowing red of the tail lights in front of us, but that was frightening as well. Like jumping into a cave and finding Satan all glowing and happy to see you. It was terrifying.
Watch one here.

We have had a lot of home decorating done lately. We went out and hired (wouldn’t that be nice) ourselves, our labor is cheap. We painted a wall in the living room and then painted Gentry’s bathroom and put up shelves. I really like the colors, they are darker than I thought they would be, but still nice. Here is my favorite from the photo shoot. Gentry eventually took charge and started taking pictures of me, I won’t share my nose holes with you though. That is the only angle he gets of me unless he is sitting on the counter or I am in bed, which is actually a lot more than you probably think.
Also, my cough is finally gone. It only took a month and 10 days of antibiotics that I don’t think helped. Gentry has the cough now though. Poor kid. He should be done shortly since he got it about a week after I did. Hopefully.

I guess I needed a break from the blog, that and I don’t have any thoughts lately. Well, except, man it is a pig sty around here. Someone should sweep this floor. Don’t pee on me. You know, the usual.
We spent the weekend in Logan and I didn’t take any pictures, but I should have. To bad I left the memory card in the memory card reader.
We went up for my sister-in-laws baby shower. This was a good reason for me to use my new chocolate fountain. Tutu, jj’s grandma, made peanut butter cookies and they were divine dipped in chocolate. So divine, I am not going to tell you how many I ate. Oh the shame. I worked out extra hard on Monday and am going to have to do a week of killer work outs to make up for it.
Andrew, married to Marni jj’s sister, is joining the Air Force and going to basic training, oh, today. He will be gone for 6 months. That is a long time. They went on their last date Saturday and I watched their daughter Lilly, I would like to now claim the title of favorite Aunt. I held her the entire time her parents were gone and the next day she started asking for me, “Mateewa.” Marni and Lilly, you are welcome to come and stay anytime. We have cool stuff here in the valley. A splash pool. An Ikea. Harmons. The good stuff. We promise not to give you cramps or gas.
