I am in love with Gentry’s hands. He had a crooked little pinky when he was born, he still does. His little hands are so expressive. I am mesmerized by them a lot of the time he is talking to me. They point and fly and are pretty much super happy.
Notice how Old McDonalds Farm contains Donald Ducks nephew Hughey and Bambi. We are a creative bunch.

I don’t look at blogs much, and usually I only look at yours (cause blogspot is blocked at work and that limits the group to just you). I just read all 22 days of the “things you love month” and it is really touching.
I have never told you before, but you have given me a lot of encouragement and hope through my life by the way that you lived yours. When I came home from my mission and saw how happy you and JJ were I had hope that I could find the same thing. Watching Gentry grow up and seeing how much he loves his mom gave me hope that my little girl could love me the same way. Seeing you with your kids and husband now is such a treat for me. I don’t doubt that they love you and you love them. You are an amazing person leading an even more amazing life.
What makes me sad about this is that it has taken me this long to realize what kind of person you really are. One of the largest regrets I have from my childhood is always fighting with you and not getting to know you better. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your life and thank you for sharing your happiness and joy with the rest of us.
I just want you to know that I love you, I don’t think I’ve ever told you that, I really do love you and your family and I love everything that you have become.

Love his pinkies too. I remember that from the first moment I laid eyes on that boy.
