Do any of you have trouble sleeping? I don’t mean the kid is waking me up every two hours kind of trouble. It is the my body just wont let me relax kind of trouble. jj’s mom has told me for years that she has a hard time sleeping. I guess it is starting to hit me as well.

Last night, for some crazy reason, my alarm went off at 1:30AM. I don’t know why. Instead of shutting it off and going back to sleep, my body decided I was up for the day. So I took the laptop and a book into the spare bedroom. I finished a book. Finished a movie. Read the news. Thought about getting up. But instead I just laid around until about 5 when I actually fell back to sleep. I thought about all the things I needed to get done today. Then I was up again at 8AM.

The strange thing is I feel really great now. I don’t feel sleep deprived. I have gotten a lot more done than usual. Maybe I just like sleep and don’t really need as much as I feel like taking.

But don’t you love a restful nap in the afternoon? I sure do. If I had had one yesterday I probably would not have slept a wink.

Hopefully, my energy does not completely drain from me. I don’t really like to turn devilish. But it is known to happen.
