Those who know me, well, know that I have a penny slot for a belly button. Meaning, your piggy bank and I have the same orifice. During very warm times in the year, my belly button will get hot and sweaty and will not dry out. This skin on skin, constant wetness leads to belly button irritation. I have found that a few swipes of deodorant clear it right up, keeping it dry and refreshingly clean smelling.

Today I noticed between my fingers on my casted hand my fingers are developing the same rash. I thought gauze between my fingers would clear it right up, but I just soaked through them. Out came the Lady Speed Stick and I am feeling dry and clean again.

So many uses for the bar that keeps you dry. If only I could figure out how to get in in my working arms pit.

I went to lunch with my mom yesterday. Gentry came along and talked about when he got married in the Salt Lake Temple. He brought all this up. He said Salt Lake Temple. I asked him who he married and he said he got married. But he said that I was there and I was a princess.

Here is the thing. I wore a tiara at my wedding. I guess he is old enough that he could look at the pictures and figure out I was married at the temple and wore a tiara. But the fact that he talked about a specific place and told me what I looked like amazed me and made me wonder if maybe more was running through his little mind than just the pictures.

Things that I miss since receiving a cast.

1) Sleep. I just cannot get comfortable at night.
2) Picking zits. Try to pick a zit when only your elbows bend. Maybe if you have elf arms, like one of my college professors, it would be possible. I sure hate not being able to take care of my hygiene myself.
3) Flossing. Also impossible with a 2×4 for an arm. jj helps me out, though he swears he could never do this for a living.

Maybe I should start paying attention and documenting this. I could get really creative.
